Jiangyan successfully defended her thesis, “Computational dissection of nitrate transport mechanism” on May 6, 2021. She worked on understanding how plant and bacteria transport nitrogen via membrane transporters. She will join Eli Lilly & Co. as a computational scientist in San Diego.
